Senator McEwen called the meeting to order at 3:05pm

Call To Order


S.F. 3957: Senator Putnam: Keep it Clean Program establishment and appropriation.

The following individuals testified on S.F.3957: Avonna Starck, MN State Director, Clean Water Action Robyn Dwight, Upper Red Lake Area Assoc and Spokesperson for the Keep it Clean Coalition (Remote)

Senator McEwen moved that S.F. 3957, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

S.F. 3963: Senator Hoffman: Fish and Wildlife Advisory Committee establishment.

The following individuals testified on S.F.3963: Jared Jess Paulson, Budgetary Oversight Committee (BOC), DNR Pat Rivers, Deputy Director, Fish and Wildlife, DNR Senator Hoffman offers the A-3 Author's Amendment was pass by voice vote

Senator Hoffman moved that S.F. 3963, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the State and Local Government and Veterans Committee.

S.F. 3808: Senator Kupec: Shotgun zone elimination for taking deer.

The following individuals testified on S.F.3808: Jared Mazurek, Executive Director, Minnesota Deer Hunters Association Senator Drazkowski Pat Rivers, Deputy Director, Fish and Wildlife, DNR Senator Kupec offers the A-1 Author's Amendment pass by a voice vote

Senator McEwen moved that S.F. 3808, as amended, laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

S.F. 4038: Senator Hauschild: Classifying certain forest industry data provision.

The following individuals testified on S.F.4038: Jon Drimel, Forestry State Lands Manager Forestry, DNR Rick Horton, Executive Vice President, Minnesota Forest Industries

Senator Hauschild moved that S.F. 4038, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Judiciary and Public Safety Committee.

S.F. 3882: Senator Eichorn: Search and rescue on unsafe ice cost liability establishment and appropriation.

The following individuals testified on S.F.3882: Sheriff Welk, Cass County Sheriff Ramsay, St. Louis County Senator Eichorn offers oral amendment to delete section 1 on page 1, was pass by voice vote

Senator Eichorn moved that S.F. 3882, as amended, be laid over.
