Senator Ron Latz called the meeting to order at 12:44 PM

S.F. 3534: Senator Westlin: Use of reasonable force in schools grounds modification; use of reasonable force in schools grounds modification; school resource officers minimum training requirements and duties definition establishment; school resource officer model policy development requirement; appropriating money.

A-17 – Howe offered – roll call 4/6 (Ayes – Limmer, Eichorn, Howe, Kreun; Nays – Latz, Oumou Verbeten, Carlson, Pappas, Seeberger, Westlin), not adopted. A-13 – Seeberger offered – division called on voice vote, 5 ayes and 5 nays, not adopted. Seeberger offered an oral amendment to the A-13 as follows: Page 1, strike lines 1.1-1.4 and 1.7-1.14 The oral amendment was not voted on. Oral Amendment - Kreun offered – Page 5, line 5.21 delete "shall" and insert "may" – roll call 5/5 (Ayes – Limmer, Eichorn, Howe, Kreun, Seeberger; Nays – Latz, Oumou Verbeten, Carlson, Pappas, Westlin), not adopted A-22 – Kreun offered – roll call 4/6 (Ayes – Limmer, Eichorn, Howe, Kreun; Nays – Latz, Oumou Verbeten, Carlson, Pappas, Seeberger, Westlin), not adopted. A-8 – Kreun offered – roll call 4/6 (Ayes – Limmer, Eichorn, Howe, Kreun; Nays – Latz, Oumou Verbeten, Carlson, Pappas, Seeberger, Westlin), not adopted. Senator Westlin moved that S.F. 3534, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.
