Absent: Senator Omar Fateh

Senator Erin P. Murphy called the meeting to order at 8:44am.

Confirmation of State of Minnesota Gambling Control Board Executive Director
     Tim Mahoney


Testifier(s):

Tim Mahoney - Exective Director of Minnesota Gambing Control Board.

 

Chair Murphy invited Tim Mahoney to the stand for introductions and member questions.

Senator Drazkowski moved the confirmation of Tim Mahoney as the Executive Director of the State of Minnesota Gambling Control Board.

Motion prevailed with unianimous voice vote. 

 

 


Senator Drazkowski moved that Confirmation of State of Minnesota Gambling Control Board Executive Director
     Tim Mahoney, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 1949: Senator Klein: Lawful sports betting establishment and appropriation.

Senator Klein presented SF1949; testimony was heard from Andrew Platto, Exectuve Director of Minnesota Indian Gaming Association (MIGA)

Chair Murphy took SF1949 off the table.

Chair Murphy invited Andrew Platto, Executive Director of MIGA, to testifier table to answer questions. 

Chair Murphy moved SF1949 be recommened to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.
