Senator Erin P. Murphy called the meeting to order at 8:43 am.

S.R. 18: Senator Drazkowski: A resolution expressing the sense of the Minnesota Senate supporting the need for suitable accommodations for the Fort Snelling National Cemetery Memorial Rifle Squad.

Senator Drazkowski introduced SR18; testimony was heard from Lee Aragoh and Dan Fischer. 

Senator Drazkowski moved SR18 be recommened to pass and re-referred to the committee on Rules and Administration. 

Motin prevailed with unanimous voice vote.

Vice Chair Mitchell moved to orally amend SF1959 as follows:

On page 36, line 29: strike everything after (c) and insert: "these are one-time transfers." 

Motion prevailed with oral voice vote. 

 

Chair Murphy moved the contents of SF1959, as amended, substitue the contents of HF1234. 

Motion prevailed with unanimous voice vote. 

 

Chair Murphy moved HF1234 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Finance.
