Senator Erin P. Murphy called the meeting to order at 10:08 am.

Call to order

Senator Mitchell assumed the gavel. 

S.F. 1426: Senator Murphy: Types of collateral the Executive Council may approve for deposit specification with the commissioner of management and budget.

Chair Mitchell took SF1426 off the table; testimony was heard from David Kelliher Minnesota Historical Society and Stacie Christensen Deputy Commissioner, Department of Administration

Senator Murphy moved SF1426A10.

With 8 voting NO and 6 voting YES, motion failed.

Stacie Christensen, Deputy Commissioner and General Counsel at Minnesota Department of Administration, joined Senator Murphy at the testifier table to answer member questions. 

Senator Murphy renewed her motion that SF1426, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to Finance Committee. 

Senator Murphy moved that S.F. 1426, be recommended to pass as amended and referred to Finance Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.
