Senator Erin P. Murphy called the meeting to order at 2:06 pm.

S.F. 2247: Senator Mitchell: Budget establishment for the Department of of Military Affairs and the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Senator Mitchell presented SF2247; testimony was heard from:Major General Shawn Manke, Ben Johnson, MDVA, and Commander Jennifer Havlick

Motion prevailed.

Chair Murphy moved SF2247, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-refered to Finance Committee.

Senator Murphy moved that S.F. 2247, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.R. 18: Senator Drazkowski: A resolution expressing the sense of the Minnesota Senate supporting the need for suitable accommodations for the Fort Snelling National Cemetery Memorial Rifle Squad.



Senator Murphy moved that S.R. 18, be removed from agenda by author request.
