Senator Ron Latz called the meeting to order at 12:45p Oumou Verbeten takes gavel at 3:03p

Testimony is at the discretion of the chair and the time available for each
     bill. Requests made after the deadline will be considered only if testimony
     time is not already filled for the bill. Requests should be submitted at
     the form below. Requests via email may not be returned and will only be
     considered once the deadline to submit requests via the form has passed.

Written testimony must meet the following requirements to be included in
     member and staff packets:
     
     1 page, PDF. Word documents will not be accepted.
     
     File names must include the bill number and a pro or con position. If the
     letter is submitted on behalf of an organization, that must be disclosed in
     the file’s name as well. Ambiguously named files will not be renamed by
     Senate staff. Failure to meet the written criteria may forfeit inclusion in
     documents provided in the hearing.



Documents which are not received by the deadline, or that do not meet the
     requirements above, may not be included. Any individual or organization that
     wishes to provide a written statement the day of committee must bring 30
     copies for members and staff. Requests for Senate staff to duplicate
     documents may not be prioritized over other committee work the day of the

     staff to provide your document in advance.
