Senator Erin P. Murphy called the meeting to order at 8:31 am.

Call to order


S.F. 2447: Senator Gustafson: Commissioner of administration appropriation to develop a road map for implementing an enterprise grants management system.

Senator Gustafson presented SF 2447. Testimony was heard from Stacie Christensen, Department of Administration; Marie Ellis, MN Council of Nonprofits.

 

Chair Murphy laid SF2447 over for possible inclusion inomnibus bill. 


Senator Murphy moved that S.F. 2447, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

S.F. 2253: Senator Murphy: MNIT statute modernization.

Senator Gustafson assumed chair duties. 

 

Senator Murphy presented SF 2253. Testimony was heard from Jon Eichten, MN IT Services.

 

Chair Gustafson laid SF 2253 over for possible inclusion in omnibus. 


Senator Gustafson moved that S.F. 2253, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

S.F. 1746: Senator Murphy: Legislative commissions and councils and state councils provisions modification.

Senator Murphy presented SF 1746. Testimony was heard from Michelle Weber, Legislative Coordinating commission. Chair Gustafson laid SF1746 over for possible inclusion in omnibus. 


Senator Gustafson moved that S.F. 1746, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

S.F. 1425: Senator Murphy: Certain provisions modification for state purchasing small businesses.

Senator Murphy presented SF 1425. Testimony was heard from Betsey Hayes, Department of Administration; Jim Cownie, MNDOT. Chair Gustafson moved SF1425 be laid over for possible inclusion in omnibus bill. 


Senator Gustafson moved that S.F. 1425, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

S.F. 2224: Senator Mitchell: Building energy use provisions modifications.

Senator Murphy resumed Chair duties. 

 

Senator Mitchell presented SF 2224. 

 

Testimony was heard from Wayne Waslaski, Department of Administration.

Chair Murphy laid SF2224 over for possible inclusion in omnibus. 


Senator Murphy moved that S.F. 2224, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

S.F. 2246: Senator Mitchell: Commissioner of management and budget authority establishment to to receive certain grants.

Senator Mitchell presented SF 2246. Testimony was heard from Deputy Commissioner Britta Reitan, Minnesota Department of Management and Budget.

 

Chair Murphy moved SF2246 be laid over for possible inclusion omnibus. 


Senator Murphy moved that S.F. 2246, be recommended to pass for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.
