The History and Effects of PFAS Pollution and Strategies to Address It

Note: Testifiers are in order of appearance, and are speaking to any number of bills on the agenda today. All the bills on the agenda are regarding PFAS, thus the format for testimony.

S.F. 834: Senator Morrison: PFAS in certain products prohibition.

Senator Hoffman moved that S.F. 834, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Consumer Protection Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 450: Senator Gustafson: Products containing PFAS notice requirement.



Senator McEwen moved that S.F. 450, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Consumer Protection Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 2222: Senator Maye Quade: PFAS in juvenile products prohibition.

Note: A2 amendment is included in documents, but was not offered to the bill. Senator Maye Quade said that the previous bill (SF450) already addressed the change she was going to make with the A2. 


Senator Hauschild moved that S.F. 2222, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Consumer Protection Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.
