Senator John Marty called the meeting to order at 8:37AM.

S.F. 40: Senator Hauschild: Iron ore mining and related industry additional unemployment benefits program
establishment (Pending referral from Jobs and Economic Development Committee).
Senator Frentz moved the A8 amendment
Senator Pratt moved an oral amendment to the A8 amendment: On line 2.32 put a period after ‘employer’, strike the word ‘and’, strike the remainder of line 2.33
Evan Rowe, Deputy Commissioner of DEED answered questions on the amendment to the amendment
Senator Pappas requested a roll call vote on the amendment to the A8 Amendment
Senator Pratt withdrew the oral amendment to the A8 amendment
The A8 amendment prevailed
Senator Pratt moved the A6 amendment
The motion did not prevail
Senator Marty moved that SF 40 be recommended to pass as amended. MOTION PREVAILED
