Senator Mark W. Koran called the meeting to order at 8:32 AM.

S.F. 3723: Senator Bigham: Central statewide repository for portable recording stem data commissioner of information technology services establishment requirement; biennial audit by the state auditor requirement; appropriating money.

SF3723: Senator Karla Bigham: relating to data practices; requiring the commissioner of information technology

services to establish a central statewide repository for portable recording system
data; requiring the state auditor to conduct a biennial audit; appropriating money

 

Senator Koran moved for SF3723 to be heard before the committee.

 

Senator Bigham presented the bill before the committee.

Stephanie James of the MN Senate Counsel explained the A1 amendment before the committee.

 

Senator Koran moved the A1 amendment for SF3723.

 

The motion to adopt the A1 amendment unanimously prevailed.

 

Senator Koran moved to pass the bill, as amended, to the Civil Law and Data Practices Policy Committee.

 

The motion prevailed.
