Present: Senator Julie A. Rosen - Chair, Senator Bill Ingebrigtsen - Vice Chair, Senator Michelle R. Benson, Senator Bobby Joe Champion, Senator Mark Johnson, Senator Susan Kent, Senator Mary Kiffmeyer, Senator Melisa López Franzen, Senator John Marty, Senator Eric R. Pratt

Senator Julie A. Rosen called the meeting to order at 8:32 A.M. on February 15, 2022, in Room 1200 of the Minnesota Senate Building. A quorum was present.

S.F. 2876: Senator Abeler: Reinstatement and extension of COVID-19 program waivers and modifications establishment.

Senator Abeler presented SF 2876.
 
Senator Benson offered the A10 Amendment. 
 
Senator Abeler presented the A10 Amendment. 
 
Senator Johnson offered an oral amendment the A10 Amendment as follows:
 
"Delete Line 1.3"
 
Senator Benson moved to incorporate the oral amendment to the A10 amendment. On a voice vote, THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS INCORPORATED. 
 
Dennis Albrecht, Fiscal Analyst, reviewed the Fiscal Note. 
 
Senator Benson moved an oral amendment to the A10 Amendment as follows: "Delete Section 5, Lines 2.20 to 3.1". On a voice vote, THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS INCORPORATED. 
 
Senator Benson moved the A10 Amendment, as amended. On a voice vote, THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE A10 AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED. 
 
Senator Benson moved the A8 Amendment. On a voice vote, THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE A8 AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED. 


Senator Benson moved that S.F. 2876, as amended, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.
