Senator Gary H. Dahms called the meeting to order at 1:01 p.m. Members introduced themselves. Roll call was taken. A quorum was present.

S.F. 972: Senator Dahms: Omnibus commerce policy and finance bill.

Casey Muhm, Senate Fiscal Analyst, presented the Senate spreadsheet provisions. Solveig Beckel, House Fiscal Analyst, presented the House spreadsheet provisions. 

 

Chris Stang, Senate Counsel and Larie Pampuch, House Legislative Analyst provided an overview of the bill's commerce side-by-side provisions. Discussion.

 

Bob Eleff, House Legislative Analyst and Carlon Doyle Fontaine, Senate Counsel provided an overview of the bill's energy side-by-side provisions. Discussion.

 

Grace Arnold, Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Commerce, testified on S.F. 972. Discussion.
