Senator Draheim, chief author of S.F. 2065, explained his bill (see summary and bill). The title is as follows:
A bill for an act relating to higher education; expanding the Z-Degree program; appropriating money; amending Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 136F.305, subdivisions 2, 3, 4.
Testifying in support of S.F. 2065 were the following:

Following discussion, Senator Draheim presented closing comments and the Chair announced that S.F. 2065 will be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus Higher Education bill.
Senator Clausen, on behalf of the chief author of S.F. 2001, Senator Abeler, moved the amendment #SCS2001A-1 (see attached). The MOTION PREVAILED and the AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

A bill for an act relating to higher education; requiring campus mental health services, training, and information; appropriating money; amending Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 136F.20, by adding a subdivision.
