Senator Andrew Mathews called the meeting to order at 1:03 PM.

S.F. 440: Senator Johnson: Real property ownership definitions clarification; record owner listed as grantee in tax-forfeited land sales requirement.

Senator Johnson moves his bill, SF 440. Senator Johnson also moves the A-2 amendment.

 

Motion prevails, the A-2 amendment is adopted.

 

Mr. Elwood with Legal Aid testifies in support of SF 440. 

 

Senator Mathews introduces tesetifier Ms McCormick with Mid Minnesota Legal Aid. She supports SF 440.

 

Member discussion and questions regarding SF 440. 

 

No further discussion, Senator Johnson renews his motion that SF 440 as amended be recommended to passed and be placed on general orders.

 

The motion prevails, and the bill is passed.

Senator Johnson moved that S.F. 440, as amended, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.
