Present: Senator Rich Draheim - Vice Chair, Senator Jim Abeler, Senator Michelle R. Benson, Senator Chris A. Eaton, Senator Matt D. Klein, Senator Mark W. Koran, Senator Carla J. Nelson, Senator Melissa H. Wiklund

Absent: Senator Julie A. Rosen

Senator Michelle R. Benson called the meeting to order at 1:00pm.

S.F. 193: Senator Benson: Psychology interjurisdictional compact (PSYPACT) creation.

Senator Benson moved that S.F. 193 be recommended to pass and rereferred to the Committee on Civil Law and Data Practices Policy.

            Senator Benson moved the oral amendment to S.F. 193.

                        “Delete Section 2.”

            Motion prevailed; oral amendment to S.F. 193 was adopted.

Testifiers:

            Sam Sands, Executive Director, Minnesota Board of Psychology

Senator Benson renewed her motion that S.F. 193 be recommended to pass as amended and rereferred to the Committee on Civil Law and Data Practices Policy.

Motion prevailed.

 


Senator Benson moved that S.F. 193, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Civil Law and Data Practices Policy Committee. - MOTION ADOPTED.
