Senator Mary Kiffmeyer called the meeting to order at 1:05 pm.

Minnesota Management and Budget: Budget request presentation


S.F. 558: Senator Johnson: Public procurement actions original jurisdiction granted to district courts.



Senator Newman moved that S.F. 558, be recommended to pass as amended and referred to Judiciary and Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 903: Senator Jensen: Legislature size reduction.



Senator Kiffmeyer moved that S.F. 903, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 390: Senator Ingebrigtsen: Reinvest in Fish Hatcheries Citizen-Legislative Advisory Group establishment.



Senator Koran moved that S.F. 390, be recommended to pass as amended and referred to Rules and Administration Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 440: Senator Dahms: Public television (TV) equipment grants appropriation.



Senator Jasinski moved that S.F. 440, be recommended to pass as amended and referred to Capital Investment Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

Minnesota Department of Revenue: Budget request presentation


The committee recessed at 2:40 pm, and reconvened at 6:15 pm.


S.F. 93: Senator Kiffmeyer: Help America Vote Act transfers and appropriations.



Senator Kiffmeyer moved that S.F. 93, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. - MOTION PREVAILED.
