Senator Ron Latz called the meeting to order at 11:14 am.

S.F. 2835: Senator Sparks: Pari-mutuel horse racing advance deposit wagering authorization and appropriation.



Senator Goodwin moved that S.F. 2835, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 2785: Senator Saxhaug: School bus flagger motor vehicle driver stop requirement.



Senator Hall moved that S.F. 2785, as amended, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 1857: Senator Goodwin: Claims against the state provisions modifications.


S.F. 3334: Senator Lourey: Medical cannabis program, children and family services, direct care and treating, and continuing care provisions modifications; department of human services (DHS) office of special investigations law enforcement division establishment.

Senator Sheran moved that S.F. 2897, as amended, be recommended to pass. - MOTION FAILED.

S.F. 2090: Senator Johnson: Resolution expressing concern over persistent and credible reports of systematic, state-sanctioned, forced organ harvesting from nonconsenting prisoners of conscience, primarily from Falun Gong practitioners imprisoned for their spiritual beliefs, and members of other religious and ethnic minority groups in the People\'s Republic of China.


S.F. 2909: Senator Jensen: No-fault auto insurance claims commerce department data collection authorization; task force on no-fault auto insurance reinstatement.
