Senator Patricia Torres Ray called the meeting to order at 3:10 p.m. S.F. 1398 – Pappas – 2015 Omnibus Retirement Bill Senator Pappas moved the A 13 amendment. MOTION PREVAILED. Senator Pappas moved the A 12 amendment. MOTION PREVAILED. TESTFIERS: o Rachel Thurlow, Legislative Commission on Pensions & Retirement(LCPR) o Shana Jones, Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) o Keith Carlson, Minnesota Inter-County Association (MICA) o Gary Carlson, League of Minnesota Cities (LMC) Senator Hall moved to delete section 5 in Article 14 of the A 12 amendment. MOTION PREVAILED. Senator Pappas moved that SF 1398 be recommended to pass as amended and sent to the Committee on Finance. MOTION PREVAILED. Confirmation of Gambling Control Board Member Geno Fragnito Senator Johnson moved that this committee recommend that the appointment of Geno Fragnito as member of the Gambling Control Board be confirmed. MOTION PREVAILED. Confirmation of Gambling Control Board Member Beth Pinkey Senator Thompson moved that this committee recommend that the appointment of Beth Pinkney as member of the Gambling Control Board be confirmed. MOTION PREVAILED.
