Senator Tony Lourey called the meeting to order at 8:43 a.m. Senator Sheran presented S.F. 410. Senator Sheran presented the A-2 Amendment. Senator Sheran moved an oral amendment to the A-2 Amendment, on lined 1.5, delete “five” and insert 10. Senator Sheran moved adoption of the A-2 Amendment as amended. AMENDMENT ADOPTED. Senator Lourey laid S.F. 410 on the table. S.F. 410 was taken from the table. Senator Sheran moved that S.F. 410 as amended be recommended to pass and laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. MOTION PREVAILED. Testifiers: Dr. Ken Kephart, President of Twin Cities Medical Society, Medical Director of Honoring Choices MN Chris Johnson, M.D., Emergency Medicine physician, Methodist Hospital Senator Sheran presented S.F. 407. Senator Sheran moved adoption of the A-1 Amendment. MOTION PREVAILED. Senator Sheran moved S.F. 407 as amended be recommended to pass and laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. Senator Hayden moved S.F. 622 be recommended to pass and laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. MOTION PREVAILED. S.F. 407: Senator Sheran: Advance care planning resource organization appropriation.



Senator Sheran moved that S.F. 407, as amended, recommended to pass and maybe considered for omnibus bill. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 622: Senator Hayden: Federally qualified health centers appropriation.



Senator Hayden moved that S.F. 622, be recommended to pass for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 797: Senator Hayden: Local public health grants appropriation.



Senator Hayden moved that S.F. 797, as amended, recommended to pass and maybe considered for omnibus bill.
