Absent: Senator Chris A. Eaton

Senator Kathy Sheran called the meeting to order at 8:11 AM. A quorum is present. Senator Chris Eaton is excused. Senator Melissa Wiklund called the meeting to order at 1:56 PM

S.F. 1901: Senator Eaton: Tanning equipment use age limit establishment.



Senator Sheran moved that S.F. 1901, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 2775: Senator Wiklund: School discipline policies health impact study appropriation.



Senator Wiklund moved that S.F. 2775, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 511: Senator Sheran: Advanced practice registered nurse health care delivery access improvement establishment.



Senator Sheran moved that S.F. 511, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 1484: Senator Sheran: Dental licensing provisions modifications.



Senator Sheran moved that S.F. 1484, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION ADOPTED.

(SF 1484 will be the vehicle for the Omnibus Licensing bill. SF 511, SF 1484, SF 1890, SF 2134 and SF 2135 will be included in the Omnibus Licensing bill. These bills have already been heard and received public input in our committee and other committees they've gone through. What remains are the final actions of committee members.)


S.F. 2754: Senator Lourey: Home and community-based services, health care, Northstar care for children, community first services and supports (CFSS), continuing care, and payment rate modifications.



Senator Lourey moved that S.F. 2754, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION ADOPTED.

(The committee will hear the policy portions of Articles 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6)


S.F. 133: Senator Hoffman: Medical laboratory science professionals licensure requirements; medical laboratory science professional licensing advisory council creation and appropriation.



Senator Hoffman moved that S.F. 133, as amended, recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION ADOPTED.
