Senator Tony Lourey called the meeting to order at 9:10 a.m. Overview of Governor’s Budget Proposals for Minnesota Department of Health (MDH). Testifiers: Edward Ehlinger, M.D., Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Health Dave Greeman, Budget Director, MDH Senator Eken presented S.F. 1993. Senator Eken moved the A-1 Amendment. The Amendment was adopted. Senator Hayden offered the A-2 Amendment. Senator Hayden offered an oral amendment to the A-2 Amendment, on line 2.9 delete “2015” and insert “2014”. The oral amendment to the A-2 Amendment was adopted. Senator Hayden moved adoption of the A-2 Amendment as amended. The Amendment was adopted. Senator Eken moved S.F. 1993 as amended be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus Health and Human Services Division Article. Motion prevailed.
