Paul Wiertz, State President of Minnesota Questions Brown, Latz, Gazelka. Latz rec. Bruce Nusted, Minnesota Retailers Association. Latz moves that S.F. 1964 be rec. to pass as amended and be re-referred to the Jobs, Agriculture, and Rural Development. Voice vote. Senator James Metzen presents S.F.1689 Dan Johnson, Executive Director of FAIR Plan. Questions Gazelka, Brown. Bruce Anderson, Manager of SEIGIP, PIEP, MMB - Argues that employees are not state employees. Questions Gazelka, Dahms, Brown. Metzen moves that S.F. 1689 be rec. to pass and re-referred toState and Local Government. Voice vote, motion carries. Brown and Housely ney.
