Senator Ron Latz called the meeting to order at 12:15 pm.

S.F. 235: Senator Latz: Lawful firearms possession and crime of violence modifications.
Senator Latz moved that S.F. 235, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill.

S.F. 458: Senator Champion: Pistol and semiautomatic military-style assault weapon transfer and firearm possession eligibility provisions modifications; criminal penalties.

S.F. 458 has been added and S.F. 503 has been moved to Friday, Feb. 22 at noon.
State law (section 609.66, subdivision 1g) prohibits carrying a handgun in the state capitol without a permit to carry and giving proper prior notification to the commissioner of public safety. This is a felony offense that will result in immediate arrest for a violation. Please take care to fully comply with the law.
NO ACTION WILL BE TAKEN ON THESE BILLS.
