Senator Ann H. Rest called the meeting to order at 9:04 AM. Senator Koenen moved that the minutes from the Division meeting on January 16, 2013 be approved. MOTION ADOPTED. Senator Koenen moved that the minutes from the Division meeting on January 17, 2013 be approved. MOTION ADOPTED. Nora Pollock from Senate Counsel provided an overview of Chapter 3 in the Minnesota Tax Expenditure Budget for Fiscal Years 2012-2015 regarding the Minnesota Estate Tax. Susan Von Mosch and Jenny Ryan from the Minnesota Department of Revenue answered questions from committee members regarding the estate tax.
