Present: Senator Al DeKruif, Senator D. Senator Joe Gimse called the meeting to order at 1:21PM. Senator Rest was excused from committee.

S.F. 2529: Senator Chamberlain: Modifying gasoline and special fuel tax exemptions.



Senator Howe moved that S.F. 2529, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Taxes Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 1792: Senator Hoffman: Legislative routes removal from trunk highway system.



Senator Sieben moved that S.F. 1792, be recommended to pass. - MOTION PREVAILED.

S.F. 1597: Senator DeKruif: Veterans preferences in small business set-aside program, county set-aside programs, state procurement bids, state job recruitment and credits for examination ratings in hiring provisions modification.



Senator DeKruif moved that S.F. 1597, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION PREVAILED.
