Senator Doug Magnus called the meeting to order at 2:14 p.m. Senators Benson, Dahms, and Nelson are excused. Chair Magnus announced that today is National Ag Day and referred members to the University of Minnesota press release announcing the 2012 Siehl Prize for Excellence in Agriculture laureates.

S.F. 1635: Senator Magnus: Biodiesel minimum content requirement exceptions extension.



Senator Magnus moved that S.F. 1635, be laid over and maybe considered for omnibus bill. - MOTION CARRIED.

S.F. 2061: Senator Magnus: Agriculture provisions modifications; dairy research, teaching, and consumer education authority establishment.
