Senator Lawrence J. Pogemiller called the meeting to order at 12:50 p.m.

S.F. 1256: Senator Olson: Dakota and Ojibwe language revitalization and preservation volunteer working group establishment.



Senator Berglin moved that S.F. 1256, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Finance Committee. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 1544: Senator Rest: Local governmental units state mandates removal, extensions and modifications.



Senator Berglin moved that S.F. 1544, be amended in to SF 3. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 672: Senator Skogen: School districts education mandates simplification and repeal.



Senator Berglin moved that S.F. 672, be amended in to SF 3. - MOTION ADOPTED.

S.F. 986: Senator Lynch: County human services mandates relief; funeral expenses county payment; children\'s therapeutic rules provisions modification; nursing facility rules modification; day training alternative licensing; school district health care program information.



Senator Berglin moved that S.F. 986, as amended be amended in to SF 3.

S.F. 987: Senator Lynch: Local government units unfunded mandates elimination.



Senator Berglin moved that S.F. 987, be amended in to SF 3.

S.F. 1054: Senator Bakk: Tax levy limits abolishment; truth-in-taxation hearing requirements elimination and advertising requirements temporary suspension.



Senator Berglin moved that S.F. 1054, be amended in to SF 3.

S.F. 3: Senator Berglin: State mandates elimination.



Senator Berglin moved that S.F. 3, as amended, be recommended to pass. - MOTION ADOPTED.
