Biographical Information
The
daughter of Larry and Janet Hance, Amy is a fourth
generation resident of Wright County who grew up with her three brothers and
two sisters on their family farm just outside of Buffalo in Chatham township.

graduated from

served her country as a Russian Linguist, graduating from the Defense Language
Institute at the Presidio of Monterey, California before being assigned to the
National Security Agency in

receiving her honorable discharge in 1996, Amy returned home to

in Republican politics since the late nineties, Amy campaigned for Mark Kennedy
and Mary Kiffmeyer when they were first elected to
their current offices and has helped to reelect Bruce Anderson several
times. She is also a former Secretary
and Vice Chair of the Senate District 19 Leadership Committee and has been a
delegate to her BPOU, Congressional, and State conventions. Amy is also active in her community. She volunteers as an adult leader for 4-H and
currently serves as Vice Chair of the

fiscal and social conservative Amy holds a firm Pro-Life stance and sees
transportation, education, and property rights as the primary issues facing
voters in
Amy’s
2012 committee assignments include Energy, Utilities, and Telecommunications, Higher
Education and Transportation.
