Regent Candidate Advisory Council
Chair: Paul Dovre

Agenda: The council will meet to review the 58 applications that were received
for the four open positions on the U of M Board of Regents. The
vacancies to be filled on the board are from the 2nd, 3rd, and 8th
Congressional Districts and one at-large. The council will select
candidates to interview. Interviews will be held the last week in
January. Based on the recommendations of the council, the congressional
delegations, and joint education committees, final appointments to the
Board of Regents will be made by the Legislature when they meet in Joint
Convention, usually sometime in February.
