Last week during his state of the state address, Governor Dayton made a statement endorsing same-sex marriage in Minnesota.  Last year, a constitutional amendment to ban same sex marriage was defeated.  What action should the Legislature take? 

(a) Enact a law allowing same sex marriage in the 2013 session.

(b) Enact a law allowing same sex marriage, but not in 2013.  Concentrate on balancing the budget in 2013.
