Sen. Sandra Pappas has been elected to serve as the President of the Senate for the 2013-2014 biennium. Sen. Pappas is only the second woman elected to serve as president of the Senate, and has served previously as President Pro Tempore. This important position will allow her to continue to play a vital role in the Senate while at the same time continue her dedication to her constituent's needs.
