| Senate District 49 Town Hall Meetings | ||||||||||||
Senator Melisa Franzen (DFL-Edina), Rep. Ron Erhardt (DFL-Edina) and Rep. Paul Rosenthal (DFL-Edina) are inviting residents of Senate District 49 to join them at two town hall meetings in February. Town hall meetings give constituents an opportunity to meet their legislators and discuss legislative issues impacting the district and the state.
“I am excited to sit down with my constituents and get their points of view on the ideas we are talking about at the Capitol,” said Sen. Franzen. “Following the governor’s budget proposal, there is a lot to talk about and I am sure there will be many different opinions brought forward. Hearing from constituents is an important part of the political process and I encorage residents to join us to share their ideas.”
The first meeting is set for February 12th at 6 pm in the Bloomington Civic Plaza (1800 W Old Shakopee Road).
