SENATOR MIKE PARRY STATEMENT ON MEMORIAL DAY

Waseca- Senate State Government Innovation and Veterans Committee Chairman Mike Parry gave the following statement in honor of the upcoming Memorial Day on May 28, 2012.

“Across the country on Memorial Day, Americans share stories of courage, sacrifice and heroism displayed by our fallen soldiers. Our nation’s greatest patriots are ordinary American citizens who gave their lives defending our freedom and democracy. The independence we enjoy, and the freedom we have delivered to the nations of the world, rose from millions of individual acts of bravery and self-sacrifice. I remain steadfastly committed to honoring the memory of our fallen heroes by protecting and supporting their comrades who returned home: our nation’s veterans.”
