SENATOR ORTMAN REQUESTS TAX COMMITTEE HEARING FOR VIKINGS STADIUM PROPOSAL

St. Paul --- Deputy Majority Leader Julianne Ortman (R-Chanhassen), Chair of the Senate Tax Committee, issued the following statement Wednesday morning regarding the legislative process and the current Vikings Stadium financing proposal:

“The Vikings Stadium proposal that passed the Senate Jobs Committee contains provisions that require the consideration of the Senate Tax Committee. I am requesting that the bill be referred to the Tax Committee following this morning’s hearing in Finance.”
