Sen. Sheran, Rep. Brynaert to Host Town Hall Meeting March 31

State Senator Kathy Sheran and Rep. Kathy Brynaert will host a town hall meeting Saturday, March 31. The legislators hope that representatives from K-12, higher education, healthcare, local government, the business sector, and agriculture will take advantage of this opportunity to discuss issues with them.

“The 2012 is in full swing and by March 31, we will have met all the committee deadlines. We will now focus on adjournment and what bills need to be passed and sent to the governor. “Rep. Brynaert and I are hosting this town hall to hear from our district residents about what they would like to see happen yet this legislative session,” Sen. Sheran said. “Also, we need to hear about how the various proposals being considered may affect our district. I encourage everyone to attend the town hall meeting.”

“We’ve been working on legislation and issues that will help our district and the state of Minnesota as a whole,” Rep. Brynaert said. “As we head into the final stretch of the session, now is a perfect time to her from residents about the issues that most affect them.
