| SENATE REPUBLICANS TOUR HIGHER EDUCATION CAMPUSES IN ALEXANDRIA, BEMIDJI, MOORHEAD |
(St. Paul) – Senate Republicans, led by Senate Higher Education Committee Chair Michelle Fischbach (R-Paynesville), will continue visits to higher education campuses throughout the state on Wednesday, Oct. 5 and Thursday, Oct. 6. Sen. Fischbach will be joined by Senators Bill Ingebrigtsen (R-Alexandria) and John Carlson (R-Bemidji) during campus tours in Alexandria and Bemidji.
The legislators will meet with administrators, faculty, and students to discuss solutions and listen to ideas to encourage the long-term health and effectiveness of Minnesota’s higher education system.
Sen. Fischbach and Sen. Ingebrigtsen will begin Wednesday with a visit to Alexandria Technical and Community College. Sen. Carlson will join later for tours of Bemidji State University and Northwest Technical College.
