| SENATE REPUBLICANS TOUR HIGHER EDUCATION CAMPUSES IN ST. CLOUD AND BRAINERD |
(St. Paul) – Senate Republicans, led by Senate Higher Education Committee Chair Michelle Fischbach (R-Paynesville), will continue visits to higher education campuses throughout the state on Thursday, September 22. Sen. Fischbach will tour campuses in St. Cloud and Brainerd and will be joined by Senators John Pederson (R-St. Cloud) and Paul Gazelka (R-Brainerd).
The legislators will meet with administrators, faculty, and students to discuss solutions and listen to ideas to encourage the long-term health and effectiveness of Minnesota’s higher education system.
Sen. Fischbach and Sen. Pederson will begin the day with visits to St. Cloud Technical and Community College and to St. Cloud State University. The final visit will be with Sen. Paul Gazelka at Central Lakes College in Brainerd.
