| Sen. Sheran to Hold Additional Office Hours in Mankato; add St. Peter Session | ||||||||||||
State Sen. Kathy Sheran will hold additional office hours in Mankato and add a session in St. Peter in the coming weeks to meet with interested residents.
In Mankato, Sen. Sheran will be available for meetings on Friday, September 23 from 8-11 a.m. at the Blue Earth County Government Center, 410 South Fifth St. in Auditorium A and B.
The St. Peter office hours will be held Thursday, September 22 at the St. Peter Community Center in Room 217 (St. Peter Room) at 600 South Fifth Street from 8-11 a.m.
Sen. Sheran decided to add additional office hour times and dates because of the positive response she had to the initial meetings. She also added the St. Peter office hours to give more residents—especially those in the rural parts of the district—an easier way to meet with her.
“I encourage anyone with questions, concerns or ideas about current issues to meet with me during office hours,” she said. “This is a very convenient way for local residents to stay in touch and to share their thoughts about issues in our area or items of discussion that may come up in the 2012 Legislative Session.”
