| SENATE MAJORITY LEADER AMY KOCH STATEMENT ON SENATOR LINDA SCHEID'S PASSING |
St. Paul – Senate Majority Leader Amy Koch released the following statement about Senator Linda Scheid’s passing.
“On behalf of the Senate Republican Caucus, I want to express my sorrow over the passing of Senator Linda Scheid and deep gratitude for her tremendous service to our state. All remember her as an ardent advocate for our students and our communities. I will remember her as a dear friend and an inspirational leader in the Capitol. I want to express my deepest sympathies to Linda’s family in their time of grief. Throughout her life, Linda has shown dedication to our youth and passionately served on the Senate’s committee on education. In a true reflection of her commitment to children and education, Linda’s family has set up a scholarship fund at Brooklyn Center High School in lieu of flowers. Her presence will be profoundly missed but her impact will never be forgotten.”
