Thank you for attending town hall meetings

To the editor:

I’d like to thank everyone who attended the town hall meetings that Rep. Kate Knuth and I recently hosted. We had fantastic turnouts at both events—100 people on February 22 and 68 attendees on February 26. I very much appreciated the opportunity to hear everyone’s opinions on the issues that will come before me this legislative session. I want to keep on the pulse of my constituents’ concerns and priorities so that my votes reflect your views.

For the next several weeks, lawmakers will be focused on passing a balanced state budget. Your input will be valuable as I am faced with these difficult decisions.
