| SENATOR BENJAMIN KRUSE APPOINTED TO CAPITOL AREA ARCHITECTURAL AND PLANNING BOARD | ||||||||||||
(ST. PAUL) -- Senator Benjamin Kruse (R-47) was appointed to the Capitol Area Architectural and Planning Board by President of the Senate Michelle Fischbach, effective January 24, 2011 for a term expiring January 5, 2015.
The Capitol Area Architectural and Planning Board is responsible for preserving and enhancing the dignity, beauty, and architectural integrity of the Capitol, the buildings immediately adjacent to it, the Capitol grounds, and the Capitol area.
“I am honored to have received this appointment, and I look forward to serving Minnesotans through the preservation of this iconic building,” said Senator Kruse.
The Board meets every two to three months to review or approve issues directly affecting zoning, planning development or design within the 60-block area of the board’s jurisdiction.
Senator Kruse joins 11 other board members, all chaired by Lieutenant Governor Prettner-Solon.
