AL DeKRUIF SWORN IN AS DISTRICT 25 SENATOR

(ST. PAUL) – Al DeKruif was sworn in Tuesday as senator for Minnesota’s District 25. The official swearing in took place on the Senate floor later in the day, followed by a reception with all members of the Senate.

“I’m excited for session to begin in earnest,” the new senator said. “We will have many challenges, but also many opportunities to lead in the direction we want to move the state.”

DeKruif was sworn in by Minnesota district court Judge Tom Neuville, who served five terms as District 25 state senator from 1990-2008.
