	About the Debate:
	The Legislative Commission on the Economic Status of Women dedicates a hearing to explore the history and current status of female criminal offenders in Minnesota. The commission hears from a variety of experts on topics such as gender differences in sentencing, managing women prisoners, the mental health and substance abuse among female inmates and national best practice programs for female prisoners.
