| Senate Minority Leader Dick Day and the Senate Republicans unveil a supplemental budget balancing plan (Phase II). The Senate Republican budget balancing plan makes an 85/15 funding shift in K-12 Education payments($312.5 million); takes $100 million from the Tobacco Endowment Fund (permanent); and shifts County Social Services Aid payments ($36.9 million). Under the proposal, $155 million is left in the Cash Flow Account with no Budget Reserve monies. |
