	About the Session:
	The Senate passes the remaining major funding bills (HF 2, SF 7, SF 4, SF 9) and adjourns the 2001 Special Session. The Senate approves the following finance bills for the next two years: $8.7 billion for K-12 Education; $3.5 billion for Transportation, Public Safety, and Judiciary; $6.4 billion for Health, Human Services and Corrections; and $713 million for State Departments. In addition, the Senate approved a "bridge funding" bill that would temporarily keep government operating until the proper funding bills were signed into law; a Revisor's bill that makes technical corrections; and a $118 million Capital Investment or Bonding bill. The Senate adjourned sine die at 3:25 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2001.
