Section 1.  Registration of unlicensed individuals.  Allows experience credit for electrical work performed in Minnesota after January 1, 2009, by an applicant for a license under section 326B.33 if:  (1) the unlicensed individual has completed the hours of experience with one employer; and (2) that employer has a record of those hours of experience. Currently, if an applicant for a license has not registered with or is not licensed by the Department of Labor and Industry, the applicant cannot receive experience credit for those hours.
