Section 1. Graduation Requirements. Amends the social studies high school graduation requirements to include at least one-half credit in government and citizenship in either grade 11 or 12. The other social studies credit requirements include a combination of at least one-half credit in geography, at least one half-credit in world history, and at least one half-credit in economics.

Effective Date. The section is effective for students entering grade 9 in the 2020-2021 school year and later.
