Section 1. Exceptions. Provides that teachers required to be licensed for service in community education adult basic education (ABE), early childhood and family education (ECFE), and certain courses offered for graduation credit are considered to be teachers for the purposes of continuing employment rights under sections 122A.40 and 122A.41.
Effective date. This section is effective for the 2018-2019 school year and later.
