Section 1 classifies data relating to disciplinary action involving real estate appraisers as private data.
Section 2 provides that an inquiry alleging noncompliance with chapter 82 that does not result in disciplinary action does not constitute a formal complaint.
Section 3 requires an applicant for a renewal license to disclose crimes involving moral turpitude. Limits criminal history check and fingerprinting to applicants for an initial license.
Section 4 provides that investigative data concerning disciplinary actions more than five years old is private data.
Section 5 establishes time limits for bringing a private right of action.
Section 6 establishes an Aug 1, 2017 effective date.
